This little guy called "Norbert" was the present for the birth of my little nephew. He was ment to be something completly different, but while sewing him he turned into that special character!
Update: In our schooldays everybody has one of these albums and all your family, friends and teachers wrote a more or less nice poem inside ;-) (Our grandmas put these stickers above inside these albums and were very keen on them I guess :-)) Poetry albums can look like that (These 2 examples are written from my grandpa and Barabara):
today i made these little trees for my rings and other jewels. i will hang them up in the bathroom or in our sleeping room. i took polymer clay (fimo) to form the trees and put the finished ones for half an hour in the oven. after that i sprayed white lack on them.
Its Phoebe's birthday tomorrow, and i decided to make some cupcakes for her. I am so pleased with the result!
I made the cupcakes from this recipe; http://www.nigella.com/recipes/recipe.asp?article=1261, and i used an old shoe box, some material i had left from making some cushions and some wrapping paper i had left from the other day to decorate it. I used a satin ribbon to finish it off.
On the cupcakes i used royal icing, dolly mixtures, love hearts and smaties ans some edible glitter candy. And then i scattered the rest of the sweets into the box for decoration
The idea of Design Challenge is to pool our design and craft projects as well as ideas and inspirations borrowed from elsewhere, to share with others and encourage our own creative development.
Founding bloggers, sisters Beccy and Meg both work from home, Beccy in German Publishing, and Meg a junior in Web and Graphic Design in the UK. Both share a love for good design and creativity in everyday life.
We have two new bloggers; 3rd sister, Beatie, is currently a full time Mum, and has a love of scrap booking and greeting card design. Finally, possibly our most talented blogger, Thomasina, cousin to the 3 sisters, who has studied Design at Bath and has since gone on to develop as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer in a London agency.
We are still in our infancy, but we hope you enjoy our collection of Design ideas and projects.
