In my momentary "design your moleskine passion" I found the pictures of Kathrin Jebsen-Marwedel on flickr. She nearly draws everday one picture in her moleskine calender. Have a look on her flickr page if you like to see more.
As I announced we have been on the Detour exhibition in Berlin yesterday. I honestly must say I expected a bit more. It is a very small exhibition with moleskine-books designed by artists. I think many books shown on flickr are much nicer and more pure. But we spent a really nice day in Berlin and had a great time with our friends.
Tomorrow we will use the chance to go to the detour moleskine exhibition in berlin. Really looking forward to that!

The last days I started crocheting patterns, instead of always making the normal single-crochet-stiches. This one is my first wristle with a simple pattern.
I started with 42 chain stitches plus 1 more. The next chains I started with a single-chrochet-stich followed from a double-chrochet-stich. And then it alternates, one single and one double ... At last I fixed the wristle with a chain single stiches.
One really nice foto-community I like is Photocase. Everybody can send her/his fotos to them and then in between 3-5 days an editor-team of photocase will decide if they accept your picture. Many pictures are really nice. Often with action or an urban style or just another view of something. The pictures must have a printable solution, so you can use every published picture for professional work. You get credits for your pictures they accept and with these credits you can "buy" other pictures. Another way is you can pay a little money for the pictures.
Blumprodukt have designed the typocal german Reclam-books – all germans know them from school – as a notebook. Now everybody can be an author and get her/his reclam-book. Each notebook will be delivered with its own pencil.
People who love polaroid may like the new idea of the polaroid company: Zink. Zink means zero ink. On this Site you can see how it works. Xiao is a 5 megapixel digital camera with this built-in zero ink printing technology.
I am absolutly impressed what some people do with their moleskine books. I just write in my ones. The books on the website of the behance network are amazing!
The idea of Design Challenge is to pool our design and craft projects as well as ideas and inspirations borrowed from elsewhere, to share with others and encourage our own creative development.
Founding bloggers, sisters Beccy and Meg both work from home, Beccy in German Publishing, and Meg a junior in Web and Graphic Design in the UK. Both share a love for good design and creativity in everyday life.
We have two new bloggers; 3rd sister, Beatie, is currently a full time Mum, and has a love of scrap booking and greeting card design. Finally, possibly our most talented blogger, Thomasina, cousin to the 3 sisters, who has studied Design at Bath and has since gone on to develop as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer in a London agency.
We are still in our infancy, but we hope you enjoy our collection of Design ideas and projects.
